We are excited to announce that the first ever foals by a Welsh Pony from Holland have been registered with The Welsh Pony & Cob Society of Canada. They are Pajon's Royal Illusion (B10887) out of Pajon's Fanastia by Kenwood's Royal Charter. Illusion is now owned by Donna O'Neil. The other colt is Pajon's Royal Bellringer (B10886)owned by Pat Clay out of Pajon's Royal Cameo Ring by Kenwood's Royal Charter. Kenwood's Royal Charter has a wonderful show record in Holland and of course Cameo Ring has been Supreme Champion at the All Breed Pony Show many times.

Thanks to Kathleen Alves and Kathleen Rawls for making it possible for us to have these outstanding foals.

Watch for these guys out in the show ring this year!

Here Come Welsh Ponies is located on 140 acres of rolling hills and pasture with a creek just a few kilometers from the scenic town of Cochrane, Alberta.

We have raised purebred & part bred Arabians under our OK Kroll Arabians farm name for almost 15 years and have now expanded in a slightly different direction, realizing Lea’s longtime aspiration to cross our Arabian stallions to Welsh mares.  When Rick began doing the photography for the Welsh pony shows in 2000, it opened up new horizons and gave us plenty of opportunity to become more familiar with what an incredibly versatile breed the Welsh pony truly is.  Our breeding stock has been selected with many different criteria in mind, always taking the whole of the individual, the importance of welsh type and overall correctness into account.  We strive to create ponies that are not only beautiful to look at, but are athletic, well balance and have wonderful dispositions.

Our first Welara cross foal is due in May of 2007 and we have several lovely section B mares that we will be breeding to our Arabian stallion, LF Atlantas, this season and will be expecting stunning Welara foals in 2008.  We currently stand 2 purebred Arabian stallions at stud, both with multi championships in both halter and performance to their credit. Please feel free to contact us with regards to breeding or any further information.  We aim to produce ponies that appeal to a wide range of people, from the show pony fancier to the family who is looking for a pony to love and enjoy.  Disposition and trainability are of paramount importance to us, creating ponies that make their owners happy and content.

A fancy show facility we are not, but we offer our horses & ponies a safe, natural environment with plenty of affection and attention. You are welcome to come and visit us and talk ponies.  Please feel free to contact us we’d be delighted to hear from you.

At Tyalow Acres we have had our two foals for the year and both are doing great.   Maverick is a ½ welsh, ½ Thoroughbred bay colt and will be just as lovely as previous foals by this cross.  Missy is a ½ welsh, ½ quarter horse chestnut filly and is absolutely adorable.   This is the first time we have bred a welsh mare to a quarter horse and we are extremely pleased with the outcome
