It's that time of the year again, time to plan
for 2009 Calgary Stampede, July 3rd to 12th.
We are looking for people to come down and talk
to the thousands of people who attend the Stampede and tell them about
our Welsh Ponies and Cobs. We welcome our members to spend either
a half or full day in the booth from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with or
without your own Pony. This is a great place to meet people from
all over the world
and brag about our ponies. We will require quiet, well groomed
ponies for the booth. There is also a small sand ring available
for demonstrations.
In order to get passes ordered, we need t o have
numbers available soon. If you are able to bring a pony in, we can
get passes out to you. There is off-site parking available with a
shuttle bus back to the Stampede Grounds.
We will also be setting up our booths in the Ag.
Building on Saturday, June (TBD). If you can come and spend a few
hours to help with this, we will also need to know ahead of time for
passes. Lunch will be supplied.
